Thank you for your interest in working with us! Here is all the information you need to see if you qualify as a performer on our team!
All Characters:
1. You must live in Florida and be willing to travel around the state. This means you must have a reliable vehicle.
2. This is not a full or a part time position. This is a side job you will do on occasion where you will make a little extra money and have a little fun. You would be considered a sub-contractor.
3. We need people who can confirm their availability quickly. Most of our gigs are on the weekends, occasionally a weekday. Flexibility is important. If you have a job where your schedule changes all the time or you can't request days off, this isn't going to work for you.
4. There is no set pay, since every gig is unique. Details of each gig will be sent to you for you to decide if it works for you and your availability.
5. You must be outgoing and good at dealing with people. You must be patient and professional at all times.
Mermaids & Mermen:
1. You MUST be a STRONG swimmer, without goggles, nose plugs, or ear plugs.
2. You must have experience swimming in a mermaid tail.

You must look completely natural underwater .
3.
As we have a tank show, you cannot have a fear of small enclosed spaces. You need to be comfortable swimming in tight spaces.
4. You must provide your own costuming. We require silicone tails & tops. Silicone tails cannot have visible seams.
If you are proficient in a fabric tail but do not own a silicone tail, let us know. We will let you know what options we have for you.
5. No visible tattoos. If your tattoo can be covered with costuming, that will be fine.
Pirates:
1. You must provide your own costuming.
2. You must be good at public speaking and directing a crowd.
3. You must be willing to help with staging, set ups, transporting mermaids, and backstage help.
4. We may occasionally ask you to come as a plain clothed assistant.
5. Tattoos are ok, but no visibly graphic tattoos (nudity or violence)
If your tattoo can be covered with costuming, that will be fine.
If you meet the above requirements, we would like to invite you to audition!
Your first audition will be via video sent to us online. Please make a video where you tell us a little about yourself, your current job, what experience you have, and how you feel the above requirements will pertain to your current situation. Please also include a picture of your costuming, and any footage you have of yourself performing. Mermaids and mermen, please include clear video of yourself underwater, your swimming skills, and clear video of your face underwater.
